How Much Does AI Automation Cost for a Small Business

“How much will this cost?” — that’s the first question I get asked. And almost every time, the answer from others is something like “it depends,” without a single number. Here — no vague answers: real price ranges, what they’re made up of, and how to pick the option that fits your budget, instead of overpaying for something you don’t actually need.

What the price is actually made of

Writing a prompt for ChatGPT takes an evening and costs nothing — and that’s often exactly how people picture “AI automation.” In reality, the price mostly isn’t about that. It comes down to three things: how much time it takes to understand your specific processes and conversations, what it costs to connect to your real channels — your website, WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram — and how much testing is needed so the AI replies in your tone, not like a faceless bot. The prompt is one line on that list, not the whole list.

Three budget scenarios

I work with three products, and they cover different problems, not “quality tiers”:

AI Overload Audit (€149–299). A diagnosis: exactly where you or your team are losing time on repetitive requests, which of them can be automated, and which can’t. The output is a concrete plan, not general advice.

AI Lead Assistant (€990–1900). A bot that talks with customers on your channels, answers common questions, qualifies leads, and passes you only what genuinely needs your attention.

Content Without Burnout (€900–1800 setup + €190–490/month). A system that regularly generates and publishes content in your brand’s voice, without you having to sit down and come up with posts every day.

Important: this isn’t “buy all three” — it’s “pick the one that solves your actual pain.” Often one is enough.

What’s included in €149–299, and what needs more

For €149–299 you get a diagnosis and a concrete plan — not a finished solution, but a clear understanding of what to automate and in what order. If implementation is needed after that — a lead assistant or a content system — that’s a separate next step with its own cost, and you make that decision with the full picture in hand, not blindly.

Where to start so you don’t overpay

If you’re not sure exactly what you need, start with the €149–299 audit — it will quickly show whether it’s even worth going further. If you already know for certain that you’re losing leads because of slow replies, you can go straight to the assistant. And if your real pain point is regular content, not leads, then the lead-handling services aren’t something you need at all right now.

If you’d like to figure out which of these is actually your case, the simplest way is to message me on Telegram or WhatsApp. I’ll answer honestly, even if the conclusion is “you don’t need this yet.”
